The derailment of a freight train and its subsequent collision with a coal train happened at Marmor, south of Rockhampton in Queensland, on Sunday evening 29 Jan 2023.

As specialists in railway infrastructure repair and maintenance, The Betta Group was called to assist with the restoration works. The Betta Group have a long-standing relationship with Aurizon on infrastructure maintenance and repair projects.
